Newborn Torso (Transparent) for X-Ray CT, US

The design of this Newborn Torso phantom is based on an average newborn torso. It is made from realistic tissue–mimicking materials suitable for Ultrasound and X-Ray/CT imaging. The phantom has a water-fillable umbilical cord and bladder, which can be both used for catheterization training under ultrasound guidance.

The phantom was developed in collaboration with a group of physician experts from the Sonographic Clinical Assessment of the Newborn (SCAN) Training Program program at the University of Calgary (Department of Pediatrics).

Note: By default, the phantom comes in a translucent amber appearance. The skin feature can be included upon request.
